No. Every Hosanna deodorant is completely aluminum-free. Rather than plugging your sweat glands the way an aluminum-based antiperspirant does, our formulas use magnesium hydroxide to raise the pH at the skin surface, making the underarm less hospitable to the bacteria that turn sweat into odor. You still perspire normally.

For many people, yes. When you stop using an aluminum antiperspirant, your body takes about one to four weeks to adjust its sweat and bacteria levels. You may notice more moisture or stronger odor at first. This is temporary, and you can reapply midday if you need to. Most people feel settled within a month, though how it settles varies from person to person.

Baking soda is an effective odor neutralizer, but its high pH is the ingredient that most commonly irritates sensitive underarms. Every Hosanna formula is baking-soda-free and built around magnesium hydroxide instead, which dissolves more slowly and raises pH gradually rather than in a spike.

Yes — we never test on animals, and neither do our suppliers. Our formulas contain beeswax, so they are not vegan; it is listed in full on both the tube and the product page so you can decide what fits your values.

We formulate with sensitive skin in mind — free of aluminum, baking soda, parabens and synthetic fragrance. Because natural ingredients are still active, we recommend a 24-hour patch test on the inner forearm before regular use. If you would rather avoid essential oils entirely, the Pure Collection is the base formula with none at all.

Many customers use Hosanna throughout pregnancy and nursing, and an aluminum-free, baking-soda-free formula is a common choice. That said, sensitivities vary and a few essential oils are best used with care during pregnancy. We always recommend checking with your physician about any specific ingredient before adding it to your routine.

Apply to clean, dry underarms. Twist the base to the right to dispense, hold it against the skin for a few seconds so your body heat softens the butters, then glide it on. Two or three swipes per side is plenty — over-applying leaves residue without adding protection.

Because we move quickly to get orders out, the window is short. Write to us through our contact page with your order number as soon as you can, and if it has not shipped we will do everything we can to help.

Because our handcrafted products are applied directly to the skin, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for any reason. Once an order has left us we cannot verify that it is untouched, and we will never send it on to someone else. We publish every ingredient in full so you can evaluate a formula before you buy. We pack every order with care, but if it arrives damaged or goes missing in transit, tell us within seven days of delivery — a photo helps — and we will work toward a resolution.

Everything is blended by hand in small batches in Florida. Producing in limited runs lets us verify each lot, keep formulas fresh, and know exactly what went into them.
